Ex-Cromer Juniors excelling at Manly Grade Cricket Club. October 20 2013

Representative players Sam Webber made an incredible 1st Grade debut scoring 50 runs and taking 3 dismissals as wicket keeper.

Luke Edgell a regular 1st grade player also scored 67 to help compile a match wining total of 339 against University of NSW that finished on top of the ladder last season.

Adam Gummer playing in 3rd Grade scored his first century in any form of cricket reaching 102 not out whilst combining in a 200 run partnership. Finishing on 2/250 easily passing the total of 245 all out, set by the University of NSW. The batting was described as a fantastic example of application and positive batting.

Adam received the Junior Cricket award in the 2004/05 season, the same year Sam received the Rising Star award. Luke received the Junior Cricket award 5 years earlier.

At the conclusion of Round 1 of the Sydney Grade competition, the Manly Grade Club sits in first place on the Club Championship. Congratulations and good luck for the rest of the season to these past Cromer perpetual award winners, who have been recipients of the Rising Star and Junior Cricket of the Year, that contributed to this great result.
