Pink Stumps Day 2012

Posted in News | Comments Off

Cromer Cricket Club is proud to be supporting Pink Stumps Day for 2012 in aid of the McGrath Foundation.

We will be holding a Pink Stumps Day on 18 February 2012 at Beverley Job Park  which will include (subject to Association approval) 2 Kanga games, 2 Junior games and a Senior game. The Junior and Senior teams will be helping out as well with all the players wearing pink and helping to raise money on the day.

The club will be putting on a BBQ and we hope that as many of you as possible can come by and purchase a sausage sandwich or drink to help us raise as much as we can on the day.  If you could pass this on to your friends and colleagues and encourage them to support the day we would really appreciate it.

More information will be provided closer to the day but if you want to help us get started or won’t be able to make it on the day, we have a webpage where you are more than welcome to make a donation.

Please help us to support this worthy cricket charity by either donating at the website, running your own team fundraiser, buying a drink or sausage sandwich or helping out on the day.

If you need any further information please contact David Rushton on 0402 408 125 or email secretary@cromercricket.com.au.

After much excitement and preparation, this week-end sees our youngest and budding future cricket stars in our Kanga teams having their first games for the season at Careel Bay 1 and Beverly Job 1. Have fun kids.

With as much excitement and perhaps a little less preparation our 3 Mens 20/20 teams are having their first games for the season. The games start 3pm at Passmore 1, Passmore 2 and Nolans 4, so head down to support Cromer and see how the big kids swing the bat and ball.

Cromer Cricket Club LogoCromer Cricket Club would like to thank the Master Builders Club for their ongoing support for the 2011/12 cricket season.

Cromer has 4 senior teams and 8 junior teams this season with all showing they should perform well this year in their respective competitions. So far there have been some great results and we look forward to the season ahead. In addition to this we are also likely to enter 3 senior teams in the local 20/20 competition.

Our in2Cricket program for 4 to 7 year olds starts in late October / early November. More information available at the Cromer in2Cricket page.
